Potato Grilled New Potatoes Recipe – I love to marinade them; soak in before cooking. It adds such a nice balance of zing and flair to this straight-forward poatato dish.

Ingredients

450 g (1 lb) small new potatoes, washed and halved

Marinade:

45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil

2 cloves, garlic, minced

1 green onion, sliced thinly

2 sprigs, rosemary, leaves only

30 ml (2 tbsp) hot mustard

Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Directions

Step 1:Cook the potatoes in boiling, salted water until just barely done. 

Step 2:Drain immediately and transfer to a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Leave at room temperature for an hour, stirring gently occasionally so that they absorb the marinade. 

Step 3:Preheat the barbecue. 

Step 4:Arrange the potatoes on the skewers. 

Step 5:Place the skewers on one side of the grill and turn off the flame on that side. Cover and cook over indirect heat for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
