Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks

ez_pot1 Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks – This super quick and easy, roasted potato recipe, is one of the most convenient and versatile there is! We used sweet potatoes, as the have a little more nutritional value, made them quick cooking but slicing into wedges, and oven roasted them. Feel free to spice them up your with your own blend of spices, or create your own version of potatoes au gratin, and sprinkle with some cheese!

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 18-20 mins
Main Ingredient: Sweet Potatoes
Difficulty Level: 1

Ingredients to make Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks

1 medium-large sweet potato
1 T. olive oil
salt
freshly ground pepper

Directions to make Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks

Step 1:

Heat oven to 425°F. Cut the potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 7 long, thin wedges. Place them on a rimmed baking sheet and toss them with the oil and salt and pepper to taste, so all sides are coated.

Step 2:

Bake 10 minutes. Flip the potatoes over and bake another until tender, another 8 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Baked Potato Chips

pto Baked Potato Chips – These supreme baked potato chips are absolutely amazing! Oven baked, instead of being fried, they are generously brushed with butter, before being oven baked, making them as crispy and crunchy can be. For an added bonus, try flavoring you butter with herbs or spices!

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15-20 mins
Main Ingredient: Potatoes
Difficulty Level: 1

Ingredients to make Baked Potato Chips

3 1/2 lb Red Boiling Potatoes OR white boiling potaotes, Cut crosswise into 1/8-inch thick slices
6 tb Butter, melted (3/4 stick)
Salt and freshly ground Pepper

Directions to make Baked Potato Chips

Step 1:Position racks in upper and lower third of oven and preheat to 500F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
Step 2:Arrange potato slices in single layer on prepared baking sheets. Brush generously with butter.
Step 3:Bake 7 minutes. Switch pan positions and continue baking until potatoes are crisp and browned around edges, about 7 to 9 minutes.
Step 4:Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve immediately.

Ingredients to make Grilled Sweet French Fries

2 (8-ounce) garnet yams or sweet potatoes, halved lengthwise, cut into 3/4-inch-wide wedges
2 tablespoon(s) ghee or unslated butter, melted
1 teaspoon(s) garam masala
1/4 teaspoon(s) coarse sea salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
Olive oil for brushing

Directions to make Grilled Sweet French Fries

Step 1:Place yam wedges skin side down on a large microwave-safe plate; cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on high 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, or until almost tender; let cool.
Step 2:Heat an outdoor gas grill, or prepare coals for a charcoal grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat
Step 3:Mix ghee, garam masala, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; add yam wedges and gently toss to coat. Grill yams (keeping the grill lid closed as much as possible) turning yam wedges as they brown, 6-8 minutes.
